Dr. Laurel Bartholomay was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and graduated form Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1986. She attended medical school at the University of Colorado and did her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
She moved with her family to Grand Junction in 1994 and she has enjoyed practicing obstetrics and gynecology until joining the Pelvic Health and Wellness Center in 2011, where she now concentrates on gynecology. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bartholomay enjoys working in a multispecialty clinic to treat urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse as well as disorders of female pelvic organs including pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding and routine gynecological care. Special interests include minimally invasive surgery and hormone replacement therapy.
